SD Grinding Wheel is a porous elastic grinding wheel made from our silicon carbide (SHINANO-RUNDUM CP/GP) by using an acetal compound of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as a binder. It is appropriate as a precision abrasive due to its sufficient elasticity, good sharpness and long life, in addition to prevention of clogging.
“SD-R Grinding Wheel” is used for mirror polishing of copper rolls used for making plates in photogravure printing.
